Dunkin Donuts Donates to Ray of Hope Foundation

Dunkin Donuts has presented Ray Allen with a check for $25,000 for the Ray of Hope Foundation. The company set aside 20 Cents (Yes, 20 like the jersey number.) from the sales of Dunkin Donuts iced coffee in the greater Boston area the day after Ray broke the all-time NBA 3-point record in February in a home game against the LA Lakers.
Ray accepted the check in a local Dunkin Donuts, still sporting stitches from having taken an elbow in a game against the Knicks. I just did the math, that’s 125,000 iced coffees, wow.

Here are some photos from the presentation of the check:

I have to say I grew up watching you progress in your NBA career and I also Grew up a Boston Celtics fan. First, Congratulations on becoming the All-time leader in 3pt field goals, thats a huge accomplishment! Second, Not a lot of professional athletes have the class you do on and off the court so thank you for being a good role model. And finally, you have been an inspiration to me to work hard for what I want to achieve in life because no matter what you have worked hard to get where you are now. So thank you with all my heart for making a big impact on my life as a fellow basketball player here in California.
